Sound Art, 2/26/09 Entry

The next goal of my audio work is to edit clips from the interviews I recorded of Chicago women speaking of their personal, social, and spiritual perspectives. I will work with these in both Audacity and Soundtrack Pro to adjust frequencies and gain in an attempt to eliminate room noise. I have the task of refining a speaker phone recording, as well, so I may need to seek outside help to optimize the recordings I have done. Once these clips are edited I will work on layering up to seven different voices creating a composite soundtrack saying similar and contradicting things as a culminating point of a DVD project.
